TORCH testing is a panel of tests that are done for detecting infectious diseases that can affect pregnant women and cause birth defects to their infant. Routine screenings can help identify and treat the woman against diseases and other defects.
Why get tested:
To detect toxoplasmosis, Rubella, Cytomegalovirus (CMV) AND Herpes Simples Virus (HSV)
To detect enlarged liver or spleen, defects of heart, jaundice and low platelets.
